Material follows position
Interior stairs can use powder-coated mild steel indefinitely. A balcony facing the sea cannot. Pool-side railings sit in chlorinated humidity and need stainless of the right grade — 304 is not always enough near salt.
We specify by position, not by preference, and say so on the quote. Where glass is used, we state the thickness, toughening and fixing method — the parts that decide whether it stays rigid.
Visually, the goal is a railing you stop noticing until you look closely: even post spacing, consistent returns, welds dressed flat, fixings concealed.

A railing is a safety component
Height, infill gap and load resistance are not styling choices. We build to recognised handrail heights and gap limits, and we fix into structure — not into tile, render or screed.
Every quote names the section sizes, fixing method and anchor type, the coating system, and the warranty period. Installation includes core-drilled or plated fixings, protection of finished floors, and a load check before handover.
